Welcome to Milk and Spices The Spa for Rugged Collectivists Let’s begin The US was founded on Genocide Still, wasn’t it also founded on the revolution against the colon\zer? Intif@d@ means resistance What, are we not allowed to resist any more? (resist any war) Are we not allowed to resist anymore? You have the heart of a lion The heart of a lion You have the heart of a lion (what, are we not allowed to resist anymore?) The heart of a lion You have the heart of a lion What, are we not allowed to resist anymore?

I woke up slowly To the sound Of a rat Chewing through the insulation In the eves of this house Built On stolen land Feared He might come raining down When I would still Have all the power He might find himself bruised and dazed And i might Bash his head in I am “isr@el” Afraid of the impossibility of the rat Chewing away at this home Not rightfully mine I am human Do not apply the transitive property here “isr@el” is not human I am human So i wish the rat would go away That i could sleep Ideally, we could both sleep Could stop thinking about the despair The thousands of children Dead Missing Under the rubble No– Could stop the despair Could stop the thousands of children From dying, stop the rubble too Resurrect their brothers Bake them bread Brew tea with sugar Replant the olive trees Insh@ll@h we will I don’t know much arabic But i do know Allahu akbar gxd is good And gxd is grieving Because jXsus was P4les+inian I don’t know much arabic trying , in prayer, to stop the despair Is teaching me how to be human How sleep and food are precious And necessary How each life, mine included, is precious And necessary I did not need genoc\de to learn this I did not need e+hn\c cle@ns\ng to learn this I did not need occupation to learn this What i needed was– Good food and many hands on my shoulders What i needed was– Not “isr@el” Not “@meric@” Not nuclear family And definitely Not nuclear w@r

Context 05:43
All this didn’t start on October the 7th No, it’s been 75 years of this aggression Post holocaust and a mass migration Of many Jewish people sponsored by the US, Britain and the United nations Well the Jewish wanted safety and the US wanted oil But P4les+inians were already native to the soil Thousands of years on the Abrahamic homeland From the river to the sea rich mix of Jewish, Muslim Christian But now Z\n\sm formed which required an ethnostate *actually formed in the late 1800’s with a variety of beliefs about what it meant And thus began the N@kb@ of 1948 The young Isr@eli army, sponsored by US and Britain Killed 15 thousand and displaced almost a million This campaign of terror was a form of ethnic cleansing Expelling P4les+tinians, brown Arabs from their country Many now were forced abroad, became diaspora Many now were crowded in the West B@nk and G@z@ Thus began the occupation with its military reign Separate and unequal- an @partheid, bloody stained It’s important here to mention not all Jews are Z\on\sts (in fact, there are more Chr\sti@n Z\on\sts than total Jews exist) Not all Jews believe oppression of the P4les+inians Will bring them lasting safety for their religion 75 years, contained by Isr@eli checkpoints Suffering pogroms, bombs, encroachment, homes destroyed The new P4les+inian government was called the PLO They demanded freedom, Isr@elis let us go But Isr@el doubled down and found a fringe movement H@m@s, they said, we’ll fund you guys and aid in your recruitment *indeed The goal was to destabilize the fight for liber@tion Meanwhile, the US and Great Britain Helped, while Isr@el defied many of the laws the UN itself had written Having a white nation state in the Middle East Invaluable for oil, to say the least Things got a little out of hand for Isr@el on the 7th Way after all this began in the context of total oppression *(the most important context that is being omitted in mainstream media) H@mas attacked a music fest and killed 12 hundred people Isr@el now retaliates with genoc\de and evil Targeting civilians, half of whom are kids The media only focuses on what H@m@s did But Isr@el is bombing, with deliberation Refugee camps, hospitals, libraries, supplies, what remains of P4les+inian civilization (WAR CRIMES) Atrocities, atrocities, atrocities indescribable Over 16 thousand murdered, thousands more under the rubble *(now 20K) 7 thousand children dead and Isr@el’s not in trouble *(now 10K) 40k more injured in critical condition People can’t get out–there’s no food, water, medical provisions We condemn Joe Biden and our reps who won’t say stop Who’re voting on more money to send to Isr@el for bombs 70% of the US population wants to see a ce@sfire But our leaders just won’t listen The US and Isr@eli lobby’s big on propaganda And violently suppresses, the liber@tory agenda (Did you know 35 states have laws against boyco++ing Isr@el? And we call this a democracy? Seriously, get real.) Likewise, dissent in Isr@el is no longer allowed So you never see Isr@elis going against the crowd What they get away with now they can do in any nation We demand a ce@sefire and decol\n\zation Find Your People

Feat clips from Democracy Now! Interview with 4hmed Tob@si, Jen\in Freedom Theater’s Artistic and Creative Director who was recently beaten and detained in front of his children by Isr@eli soldiers after they destroyed the theater The Freedom Theater The people of Jen\in and Jen\n camp There is no words, actually, no words The Freedom Theater is a cultural, artistic place Everything is destroyed And you see all this mess And I don’t know why Because this is theater It’s not a military base It’s not a terrorist house All of this has been destroyed The whole theater And then they just broke the door to my house Please, there is children here We are a whole family here And you can do whatever you want There is no need for violence There is no need Quickly they put the guns on me They put me down and they start to beat me They broke all the house They broke everything The children were screaming crying Under the guns Children screaming crying Under the guns And they throw me in the mud It was raining they throw me beside the street Where all the jeeps The army go around me And I don’t understand what is going on Are they gonna drive on me Are they gonna kill me I don’t understand what is going on because I was blindfolded It was a torture somehow A psychological, mental torture Waiting the moment When they gonna shoot you Are they gonna drive on you? Are they gonna smash you? And you just waiting the moment When they gonna shoot you Are they gonna drive on you? Are they gonna smash you? That’s the way that we live our lives. And for me, I am wondering how long this gonna happen again and again and again Be destroyed, we build it again, we fix it again Be destroyed, we build it again, we fix it again That we cannot wait for another promise And we have to fight Not just for P@les+inians For the humanity For each country still under colon\zation or under occup@tion P@les+inians For the humanity They arrest us as artists As people who do theater For the humanity The Freedom Theater Is a cultural, artistic place Where we have children, young people Girls, boys, women Who come here to practice To find a place where they can express themselves Imagine there is a better life Still the Isr@el\s come and they’re telling us No you cannot dream You cannot dream That your destiny as a P@les+inian Is to grow up, to be poor To grow up and die under brutal, crazy violent occupation They arrest us as artists As people who do theater They destroy everything that shows There is culture There is art I am asking all the artists in this world Its gonna be a cultural, artistic \ntifada We’re asking also all the friends all around the world You have to unite And we have to fight not just for P@les+inians We have to fight for the humanity For each community and each country still under colonization or under occupation Without all this hate Without all this violence It’s gonna be a cultural, artistic \ntifada

about

Sound Journal P4les+ine is just that, a free association audio diary written and recorded in a hasty 8 days, processing the unspeakable atrocities in and global movement around P4les+ine in late 2023. The EP is an intimate unmixed, unmastered space for your best headphones. Rage, action, despair- Sound Journal P@les+ine combines meditative synths and dance beats with stream of consciousness poetry and media clips in a reflective listen-with-your-eyes-closed kind of way.

Inspired by a passage in Rick Rubin’s The Creative Act, this EP is an attempt at process over product, imperfect action over political paralysis. It’s an attempt at moving the trauma of this time through my body, a chance to metabolize. It’s an attempt to amplify the voices of our P4les+inian siblings screaming their throats raw and not being heard. It’s an attempt to use what I have to offer on quick notice– I hope it releases something in you like it has me and bolsters you in the fight.

We find hope, healing and bravery in action and action when we depol\ce our possibilities. Just\ce and L\beration to us all. Free P4les+ine!

**quick note: unmixed, unmastered means please use your best headphones and don’t be afraid to adjust the volume as needed!
